Submission Guidelines

General Requirement

Please note you are required to have registered and paid for the conference prior to your abstract being published.

Paper submission guideline

Submit paper for review

Upload paper

If your abstract is accepted, you may upload a full paper. Please note the Academic Track papers will be published on the SAGC website after the conference. The Industry track Papers will be published on the Conference and SAGC Websites.

The steps to upload a paper are as follows:

  • Log in: Log into the system by following this link - app.abstractwiz.co.za
  • Open abstract: Open your accepted abstract by clicking on the abstract title in your list of submissions.
  • Upload paper: Click on the Upload & Submit Paper button above your abstract in order to select the document to upload and click Submit . Papers must Uploaded in MS Word only. For the Author Guidelines please visit http://www.sajg.org.za/index.php/sajg/about/submissions#authorGuidelines.

Amend paper

If your paper submission requires amendments, you will be notified by email and you can then upload a revised paper.

The steps to upload a revised paper are as follows:

  • Log in: Log into the system by following this link - app.abstractwiz.co.za
  • Open abstract: Open your accepted abstract by clicking on the abstract title in your list of submissions.
  • Read reviewer comments: Read the reviewer comments on the system and open any uploaded reviewer documents to see further requests for changes as indicated.
  • Amend paper: Make the necessary changes to your paper and outline how you addressed each of the reviewer comments in a table at the bottom of your paper submission.
  • Resubmit paper: Click on the Upload & Submit Paper button above your abstract in order to select the amended paper to upload and click Submit

Proceedings

 - The Industry track will be published here on the conference website and on the South African Geomatics Council website.
 - The Academic track will be published in the South African Geomatics Journal
